It's that time of the year again, and I have my hopes set on these goodies as gifts this year. I'm totally inspired by my up coming trip to Southeast Asia, and that's why I have listed two pairs of sunglasses and one kick ass swimsuit. Also, I've been eyeing the Nikon 35 f/1.8G lens for a while, so hopefully, this will be the year I add this beauty to my inventory. Excited!
Ik Kil Cenote is an amazing place to visit. It's one of the most beautiful natural sites I've ever seen, and I totally recommend taking a dip, especially after visiting scorching hot Chichén Itzá. I wasn't aware of cenote's until I saw a picture of Ik Kil on Tuula's blog, one of my favorite Travel-Fashion blog's by the way. I made sure to visit Ik Kil since I had already planned a trip to Playa del Carmen. The place is set for tourist: you have showers, lockers, changing rooms, a souvenir shop, and stairs that lead you down to the natural pool. Once you get down, you can see a ledge that you can jump off (you can also climb down stairs to get in). The jump looks doable at first, but once you get up there it's tough to work up the courage to actually jump. I finally did jump though. Awesomeness! You only live once.
